Christian Distinctives
We believe that who is teaching our children to learn is just as important as what our children are learning. Scripture says, Everyone after he has been fully trained will be like his teacher. (Luke 6:40) As important as the "what is being taught" is, God makes it clear that students learn the teacher's life as they learn the curriculum. A child is not trained in the way he should go, (Proverbs 22:6), unless that child is being taught God's Truth by teachers who believe and live God's Truth themselves.
The environment at Century Christian School encourages students to experience and express their own faith in Jesus Christ. Students learn about the person of Jesus Christ and are taught Biblical principles of a Christian life-style. Students are encouraged to make a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, to experience a personal relationship with God, and to demonstrate their faith by serving God.
Faculty and Staff
An important part of the academic and spiritual strength of Century Christian School is our teachers and staff. Our teachers are committed Christians who demonstrate a calling by God to teach. Academic training, experience, and spiritual maturity make them effective teachers. All of our staff are Christians, with a passion for Christian education, and the desire to invest in your child’s future and in the Kingdom of God. Meet our faculty and staff.
School Facilities
Century Christian School uses the excellent facilities of Century Assembly that include classrooms, library/computer lab, kitchen, lunchroom, gymnasium, sanctuary, offices, and playgrounds.
Meals
Breakfast and lunches are available on a daily basis and are prepared on campus. Milk may be purchased separately for students who bring their lunch from home. Menus are published on a monthly basis.
Uniform Dress Code (K-8)
Century Christian School has a uniform dress code for kindergarten through eighth grade students. The standards of dress and appearance for students at Century Christian School are based upon modesty, cleanliness, comfort, safety, and practicality. They are intended to encourage reverence for God, modesty in dress, school unity and spirit, and to give priority to the inward character over outward appearance. Review our Dress Code.
