We think they're worth a dollar! Do you?
In March of 2010, Century Christian School launched the "Donate a Dollar" project. The idea: to see if we could raise $100,000 one dollar at a time. Using a simple e-mail and a link to Paypal, recipients were asked to do two things: donate a dollar and forward the e-mail. Below are our results to date and the original e-mail. You could help CCS with their goal as well, just copy the e-mail and forward it to your friends! Thanks for helping us reach our goal... One Dollar at a Time!

- Did you know “California students generally have lower test scores than students across the nation2?” CCS students consistently score 7%-10% higher than the National Average!
- Did you know more than 30% of California public school students don’t see their graduation day3? Meanwhile, Century alumni go on to excel in local public and private schools and include doctors, teachers, contractors, missionaries, moms and more!
Like California schools, Century Christian School is facing tough economic times but unlike the public schools, we’re looking for investors. We believe that an education of excellence, with a 30+ year track record of success is worth an investment… of at least a dollar!
Here’s our idea… What if you did 2 things?
- You clicked on the link below and “paypal-ed” CCS a dollar. (A donation of $1.34 would cover paypal’s fee and allow for the entire dollar to make it CCS.) Of course a larger investment is possible and appreciated.
- You forward this e-mail to your friends and family who know the value of what Christian school can provide.
Unlike the dozens of junk mail “forwards” you get daily, this e-mail could help further the mission of an incredible school. Just 5 generations of this e-mail has the potential to raise $100,000 for our students… that’s our goal! That could be the power of your dollar. Would you help?
